The female body was discovered last week and police believe whoever it is died on or around New Year’s Day. It was found 30ft up a tree and officers do not believe that the woman fell from a window from one of the nearby buildings into a tree nor do they believe that the body was placed up into the tree because it would be too difficult to do so.

The most logical explanation is that the woman climbed up the tree then died in its branches. Although there were no reports of anyone ‘living’ in the tree a young boy from the area had commented to his father that he thought he had seen someone in the branches a few months ago. The father, who did not wish to be identified, said: “It’s weird to have someone in such close proximity. It’s got us all wondering who this lady is.”

Other residents however have said that when they have used the laneway to put out their garbage bins they haven’t seen anyone in or near the tree recently. At the beginning of the month many of the residents did start to notice a foul smell lingering around the area however many believed it to be a decomposing animal like a possum had died in the area somewhere nearby.
Another resident, Miss Danyane Bowing, who lives next to the tree believed the mystery woman may have walked through her garden around New Year’s Eve and climbed her fence into the tree. She told the Sydney Morning Herald: “My assumption is it started to smell on Wednesday (January 4), I’m no expert on decomposing bodies in summer time, but when I went out around the start of the New Year I remember thinking that something smelled dead.”

The tree and the surrounding fence have now been removed because both had been contaminated by the woman’s decaying body.

So far extensive inquiries into who the woman may be have drawn a blank, Chief Inspector Dave McBeath said: “We’re matching the body against the missing persons list, but as you can appreciate the ID’s not a good one. The body has decomposed to such an extent that I’m not sure the fingerprints are useable.”

According to details from a post mortem of the dead woman, she was 5ft 8in tall, with long brown hair – held back with a black hair clip with a plastic flower on it, there weren’t any visible tattoos either. The clothes she was wearing were described as a green hooded jumper, a green singlet top, and three-quarter-length black leggings.

Cirilo Castillo is accused of two counts of cruelty to animals and two counts of criminal trespass and has bonds set at $60,000 by Justice of the Peace Charlie Espinoza. Investigators identified Castillo from the videos and he was arrested last Tuesday according to records.

Also another rancher in nearby Alberta had spoken to investigators too after catching Castillo with his mares on four occasions, allegedly, according to court records. The rancher claimed he had watched Castillo tying up the horses and having sex with them, he then identified Castillo from a photo line-up.

Castillo admitted to police during an interview that he had sex with his neighbour’s horse and also having sex with another horse at a different ranch.

Police shut the effected section of the M1 in both directions between junction 32 and 33 whilst clean-up operations were underway. It is believed this also caused problems still this morning during rush hour.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said the tanker overturned after being involved in a collision with a motor caravan. The driver of the tanker was taken to hospital however the injuries are not believed to be serious.

A police force spokeswoman said: “We were called at 10.15pm yesterday to reports of a tanker, which was carrying 23.5 tonnes of waste yeast, overturning. Some of the contents were spilled on the northbound carriageway and we are in the process of emptying the remaining contents of the tanker and clearing up the spillage before it can be moved and the road reopened.”

The Highways Agency said it expected the road to be reopened at around 8am.

The grandmother says she began experiencing the night-time naughtiness in her flat four months ago. She said: “It’s like an octopus. I was lying in bed when I felt this creepy pair of hands. I kicked frantically and it went away. I’ve tried sleeping without the duvet. But it started shaking my mattress. I even threw the mattress off the bed and bought a new one but it has made no difference. This is very creepy and is giving me the jitters. It’s harassing me. I need to call in the Ghostbusters.”

Worried about the disturbances Mrs Birch, who lives alone, consulted a vicar who believes the disturbances are being caused by a ‘lost spirit. However Methodist Minister Hugh-Nigel Sheehan of the nearby United Church was unable to help. So now she is seeking the experts of local husband-and-wife ghost hunting team to get rid of the perverted poltergeist.

Spirit medium Ray Herne says he will draw the ghost into him while his wife Beryl will capture it in a ‘vortex of light’ and send it to the ‘other side’.

Canterbury City Council’s Head of Housing, Larissa Laing, said: “The council has a duty of care and will respond to any complaints or concerns experienced by our tenants. Therefore even though we have received no similar reports from residents living in Margaret Court I’m more than happy to meet Doris Birch and discuss her situation.”

A teen from Atlanta US was arrested after he was rescued from a chimney, in which he had been stuck in for ten hours after trying to break into a property. Fire-fighters freed the seventeen year old using a rope, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that the teen had been stuck in the chimney since 3 a.m. Tuesday.

The teen named as Ranaldo Jack, faces burglary charges as well as being charged with providing false information to a police officer, when he gave officers a fake name when first released from the chimney.

The neighbour of a neighbouring property called police after hearing Ranaldo’s cries for help. Laura Chaparro heard someone yelling for help, she said: “We were talking to him, ‘what are you doing down there?’ He just said, ‘Ah, I’m stupid,”

Apparently the owner of the home had no idea that someone had been stuck in her chimney until she came home and found TV crews there. Tsehianesh Kidane told AJC that she came home to find TV crews there. She said: “Police and everything around the house … It looks like a tornado touched down. Oh my God, that scares me to death. Why did he figure out (to go) through the chimney?”

On Tuesday night, Jack was being held without bond night in Gwinnett County Detention Centre, in his mug shot Jack is seen covered in soot.

The offices of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo were attacked around 1am with a petrol bomb which was thrown through a window, gutting the offices. The bomb set alight to the computer system as well as burning most of the contents in the office and blowing out windows.

The “sharia” edition was to hit newsstands this morning however it was described rather mockingly as a “celebration” of the victory of the moderate Islamist party An-Nahda in the Tunisian elections and the Libyan transitional executive’s statement that Islamic sharia law would be the country’s main source of law. The magazine chose to feature on the front cover a cartoon prophet Muhammad stating: “100 lashes if you don’t die of laughter!”

Ever one to court controversy the magazine has faced problems in the past when they have previously published cartoons of Muhammad, which in Islam is forbidden. But in 2007 a case brought by two Muslim organisations against the magazine when it reprinted the prophet Muhammad cartoons that had been published by a Danish newspaper and caused controversy around the world was thrown out of a Paris court.

On France Inter radio the magazine’s editor, known only as Charb said that for the past few days the paper had received threats on Twitter and Facebook and by post, which had been passed on to police. He said he was sickened and angry that “violence could be used to counter drawings”.

Charb also told Agence France Presse he rejected accusations that he was trying to provoke, saying the magazine was “just doing our job as usual”.

New offices for Charlie Hebdo are being sort with the help of the Socialist-run Paris City Hall. Christophe Girard, a deputy mayor of Paris tweeted: “We’d never leave an organ of the free press without offices. It’s the duty of the republic. Charlie Hebdo should be able to continue to work.”

The head of the French Council for the Muslim Faith (CFCM) Mohammed Moussaoui stated that he “strongly condemned” the fire if police did confirm it was a criminal attack.

The bees were being transported to California, ready to pollinate an almond crop next spring.

Interstate 15 was closed down for several hours while local beekeepers worked overnight to recapture the bees.

The trip was among the last of 160 truckloads of bees being sent south from Adee Honey Farms in South Dakota.

Authorities closed the southbound lanes of the highway, near the Arizona border, for several hours on Sunday night. The road reopened early on Monday morning, but officials have warned drivers to keep their windows closed.

“The driver lost control, hit the concrete barrier and rolled over,” said Corporal Todd Johnson of the Utah Highway Patrol. “Of course, we then had bees everywhere.”
‘Complete loss’

Driver Louis Holst and his wife Tammie were dragged out of the overturned trailer by first responders, but were swarmed by the escape bees on the highway.

“We just started swinging our clothes,” Mr Holst told the Associated Press news agency. “They stung her all up and down her neck.”

Mr Holst said he was stung about a dozen times and suffered a gash on his forehead. His wife also was both stung and bruised.
Two police officers were also stung.
Richard Adee, owner of Adee Honey Farms, said this truckload, worth approximately $116,000 (£72,500) was “pretty much a complete loss”.

Local beekeepers worked overnight to capture the bees, but on Monday most of the inhabitants of the 460 hives were gone or dead.

“We tried to move them [the bees] as far out of the metropolitan area as we could,” beekeeper Melvin Taylor told the Reuters news agency. “Because when those bees come alive today, they are going to be mad that their house is all [broken] apart.”

Earlier this summer, an estimated 14 million bees escaped from an overturned truck on a Idaho highway.

Police are currently investigating the final hours of a man whose burned and beaten body was found at the side of an Ayrshire Road. Stuart was found dead with severe injuries near Caponarce Industrial Estate, Cumnock at 4.50 on Saturday morning.

It is known that Stuart had been out with his friends earlier that night and was last seen alive at 02:30 (nearly two-and-a-half hours before he was found) by a family friend, close to the local fire station.

It is believed that he had been tied to a lamppost, beaten and burned. Police are exploring all possibilities and say that various house parties on the Netherthird Housing Estate cannot be ruled out of investigation.

Detectives explained that they were checking CCTV and making door-to-door inquiries in an attempt to trace what happened to Mr Walker between 02:30 and 04:50 hours.

Police have explained that every aspect of Mr Walkers life needs to be explored and under investigation. Many believe that Mr Walker may have been targeted due to his sexuality.

Family and friends described him as a “true friend and gentleman” and are in huge shock and disgust after the events of Friday night/Saturday Morning.

Facebook pages that have been set up to honour and show respect to Stuart Walker have received hundreds of messages and tributes. One page described him as “genuine guy who always had a smile, a wave or a big cheery hello for everyone”. A separate described him as a “A very special person… the world lost a wonderful person yesterday.”

The man was then taken to Albert Einstein Medical Centre and is in an unknown condition. According to CBS News the local police are investigating the incident as to why the man amputated his own arm and hand.

Some people suffer from a syndrome called body integrity identity disorder, where they feel incomplete with four limbs and their brains don’t recognise a healthy limb as belonging to their body which is why some people end up removing them.

Individuals who request help from surgeons find that their requests are usually turned down because they won’t amputate a healthy limb.

The man told doctors in Viareggio, Italy, he “heard voices” telling him to rip out his eyes. He has now been admitted to a psychiatric hospital, where he is receiving treatment. According to medics, Aldo had been in treatment for a psychiatric illness however he had not wanted to take the pills prescribed to him.

After the events had unfolded Priest Lorenzo Tanganelli, did manage to carry on with the Sunday Mass, he said of the events: “I’ve never seen so much blood. In the Bible, Jesus says: “If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.”

The doctor who treated Also said the man did not complain or show any signal of physical pain, and answered correctly when asked his name. He said: “In the 26 years I have been practising, I have never seen anything like it. He would have needed absolutely super-human strength to pull his own eyes out with his hands.”

The poor man’s mother who had tried to comfort her son said: “He got up and started banging his head against the floor, he was covered in blood – I did not know what was happening, he didn’t say anything.”

The crime was described as ‘definitely weird’ by Detective Tony Kovacs of the Lorain County Sheriff’s Department, he said: “It’s kind of crazy to steal a vehicle that is that expensive to break into a store to get some kind of sex toy.”

The thief broke into a nearby recycling lot where a truck and trailer were parked, unlocked. He then drove down to the AdultMart, crashed into the front of the shop and went straight to the expensive product.

According to police the suspect is a regular visitor to the adult store because he knew exactly where to go and went straight to the item.
The owner of JT recycling lot from where the truck was stolen, John Tirbaso, said he was ‘shocked’ at the incident he said: “I even said, “Wow, you know this economy is bad, I guess this stuff is going to happen”, then, when he told me what happened it just threw me off.”

Tirbaso confirmed it was not one of his employees who stole the vehicle after checking CCTV footage however what was strange was the vagina thief returned the truck to John’s lot after the incident.

It’s not the first time the AdultMart had been broken into for a sex toy, back in September 2009 a man drove a car into the back of the business to steal a sex toy, he then left through the front door, remaining in the car the whole time.

On Saturday an alarm was raised by members of the public after numerous people said that they saw a blue object fall on the south of the Loch, near Dores. AT first police suspected it could have been a hang glider or microlight, hence the full scale search, but after searching the eerie loch they couldn’t find “nothing untoward”.

A member of Loch Ness RNLI crew, Vivian Bailey, said: “Speed of arrival on scene was essential and we were able to link our search efforts with those of the Coastguard and RAF, something we practise regularly. We believe the reports were based on sightings causing genuine concern and we commend the actions of the members of the public that contacted the emergency services.”
