Carbon footprint or no, this is an important step toward colonizing space. This needs to be done before the next major impact on our planet, or that’s all she wrote for the human race. Private sector space tourism will fuel the next big advances in space technology, and will be instrumental toward this goal. I only hope the tickets become affordable for people like me.

Who cares? Carbon footprints in outer space wont have much impact on the earth’s atmosphere now will they? Dur.

Just wondering what sort of carbon footprint this will generate, as we are all been told to cut down on flying due to emissions and global warming? Maybe you money would be better spent elsewhere Mr. Branson, but then again is there any profit in been green.
