Mike Bailey, who captained Wolverhampton Wanderers, has died aged 84 after a long illness.
The midfielder won two England caps. He started his career at Charlton Athletic before moving to Molineux in 1966.
Bailey made 436 appearances and scored 25 goals for Wolves. He lifted the League Cup in 1974, after helping the West Midlands club reach the Uefa Cup final two years earlier.
In his final season at Wolves, he helped the club earn promotion back to the top flight.
Bailey later had a brief spell in the North American Soccer League (NASL) with Minnesota Kicks before returning to England to become player-manager of Hereford. He went on to manage Charlton, Brighton, Greek club OFI and non-league side Leatherhead.
