West Ham made light work of Wrexham with a 6-0 win at the London Stadium, their fourth straight league victory, to move top of the Sky Bet Championship.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side controlled the game from the start, looking every bit a Premier League outfit. Captain Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring in the 28th minute, arriving at the far post to convert Manor Solomon's cross. Seven minutes before half-time, Taty Castellanos drove into the box and set up Joel Piroe, who finished first time to make it 2-0.
Konstantinos Mavropanos headed in Bowen's corner three minutes after the restart. Castellanos added a fourth in the 63rd minute, finishing after Kyle Walker-Peters teed him up. Mohamadou Kante made it five in the 76th minute, racing onto Solomon's clever ball over the top.

Solomon then capped an excellent display with the sixth, controlling, turning and firing home despite Anthony Patterson getting a hand to it.
The result takes West Ham to 14 points from six games, above West Brom at the top of the Championship, and they have scored 16 goals in their last four outings after a shaky start. For Wrexham, it was a chastening night as their previously stubborn defence was breached six times, their heaviest league defeat in over two decades.
