All 12 Scottish Premiership clubs will field a team in a legends version of the Tennent's Soccer Sixes, the cult indoor tournament returning later this year.
The revived event, backed by the SPFL, will be held at Braehead Arena over the weekend of 3 and 4 October and broadcast on Premier Sports. Group stages take place on Saturday, with the winner and runner-up from three regionalised groups of four teams advancing to the knockout stage, joined by the two best third-placed sides.
Every match must produce a winner, with a bonus point awarded for a penalty shootout victory if the game is drawn after normal time. The sin bin will also be in use.
The Tennent's Soccer Sixes was a fixture of Scottish football for nine years starting in 1984, with clubs fielding many of their top players. Partick Thistle, now in the Scottish Championship and not part of this year's event, won the last tournament in 1993.
SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster said: "The Tennent's Sixes has a special place in the hearts and minds of a generation of football fans and we are absolutely thrilled to get the band back together again with the official endorsement of the SPFL."
