Businesses across Argyll and Bute are being encouraged to look into grant funding from the council that could support their development and growth.
The council provides a variety of grants for eligible businesses in the area. To make it easier to find the right support, businesses now only need to submit one Business Funding Enquiry Form (BFEF) to register their interest.
Once the form has been submitted, the details are passed on to the teams that handle any relevant grants. Those teams will get in touch with the business to discuss the funding available and, where appropriate, the application process.
The new approach means businesses do not have to provide the same information more than once, and it helps ensure enquiries are directed to the right team as quickly as possible.
Council Leader Councillor Jim Lynch said: "We know that navigating different funding opportunities can take time, so we want to make the process of finding the right support as straightforward as possible for local businesses.
"By completing one Business Funding Enquiry Form, businesses can tell us about their needs, and our teams can identify the grants that may be relevant to them.
"Even if there isn't a suitable funding opportunity available immediately, we'd still encourage businesses to register their interest. It will help us understand what support our local businesses need and means we can let them know about relevant opportunities that may arise."
Completing the Business Funding Enquiry Form does not guarantee that funding will be awarded. It allows the council to look at the needs of each business and connect them with suitable funding and support where available.
