Business secretary Jonathan Reynolds has pledged that the UK government will “do everything we can to unlock more investment” in the country’s automotive industry, after McLaren announced a £500 million injection into its UK business.
Reynolds was in Woking today (16 September) to celebrate McLaren’s landmark pledge, which will bring a new factory, 4000 new jobs and a new generation of UK-built cars.
