Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki both scored twice as Manchester City beat Crystal Palace 4-1 at Selhurst Park, giving Enzo Maresca a second straight Premier League win.
Haaland opened the scoring in the first half with a looping header from a left-wing cross, rising above Chris Richards. Cherki then doubled the lead, dribbling through the Palace defence and poking the ball past Dean Henderson.
Palace, in Pierre Sage's first home game, had started brightly. They pulled one back when Yeremy Pino's 25-yard free-kick struck the bar and rebounded off Gianluigi Donnarumma into the net, credited as an own goal.
Cherki restored City's two-goal lead five minutes later with an audacious strike that deflected past Henderson. Tyrick Mitchell missed Palace's best chance with a close-range header, and Haaland sealed the win late on with a rasping finish.
City have won both of their opening matches under Maresca, while Palace have lost both under Sage.
